Marcela's Mission

Marcela's went on her first mission trip! The children's ministry at the church we attend goes out to a Embera village. This year Marcela and Reggie joined the trip. We had a 30 minute bus ride and then a 10 minute boat ride up a river to the small village. While we were there the children played games, sang songs, shared the gospel, and lunch with the children. During one of the games Marcela made friends with one girl and they played the game together, neither really knew what to do but they stood there holding hands and watching.


Chaz, I had his daughter in my class last year, is translating parts of the Bible into their native language. Here he is giving them some books he has made for them.
After a hard time playing Marcela sat down next to this man to have a drink and take a break.
One of the hi-lights was the musical show that the tribe put on for us.
