Harmony said her first real word the other day on June 14th. She said ca-ca (cookie). The cookies that she was eating here are made by our amazing cook neighbor Christina (she teaches secondary History with Reggie at CCA). We decided that she had to say her first word over Christina's cookies because they are so wonderful you just have to say something. Thanks for sharing them with us Christina. She has said several words since then. It's neat watching her develop her vocabulary because it was almost like she needed to say that first word and since then she's had a language explosion. I'm sure we don't understand all that she says but she now says cat (because Grandma and Grandpa have a cat named Cinnamon that she loves to chase around and point at), side (outside), up, agua (water) and I'm sure others. It's neat to see.
