The plants

This is a vanilla Bean tree. We broke one bean open and it really did smell faintly of vanilla.


















We stopped along the side of the road to take this picture. It is a field of Pineapples.














This is a Durian Tree. It is a fruit that they say Davao specializes in. I haven't eaten it yet but it stinks so badly.
