Memory Verse Club
A friend of ours here runs a memory verse club where the kids in the neighborhood memorize verses and if they recite them then they can earn a prize.
This boy earned a notebook after he said his verse. They can earn things like pencils for school, erasers, shoes, backpacks, flip flops, underwear and other things like that.
The Awana group at one of our churches back home sent us a bunch of money to use for dental care and we bought toothbrushes and toothpaste to hand out to these kids. So here is Harmony giving a toothbrush and two packages of toothpaste away.
This girl earned a notebook with her verse. She has on one of the school uniforms from the area. Most of the kids recite the verses in Visayan so our friend's helper is the one who listens to the verse. She is the woman sitting down.
