This year we decided to make these little advent candy thingys. Each day had two candies inside. They could eat one candy only if they shared the other. (as you can see from the photo above that ants discovered they could crawl up the tube of the suckers. So frustrating. So this advent calendar spent the season inside our refrigerator.
Here the girls are giving their extra candy to the boys across the street playing in the mud. I think they were suspicious at first but of course enjoyed the candy once they realized it was theirs for free.
