This might be the boringest post ever or maybe not. One day we were walking home from school and going through the gate at the end of the street. H was going through it and M tried to help by pulling the gate further apart but the lock and chain was draped and not locked so the lock swung down and nailed H on the head. She got this tiny cut but it bled a fair amount. Much sadness. No lasting harm done though. Thankful it wasn't her eye or something. I'm always amazed that kids make it to adulthood with all the injuries they sustain. Thank you Lord for protecting our kids!!
