Day 4 Ministry Day
The final day we went to a nearby school. Every group went to the same school so the children were learning the songs and hearing different Bible stories each day. So by the time we got there they knew these songs well.
After singing songs we came back to the classroom and worked on a craft with the students and then played some games. I felt very bad for my group of 9 boys. We were planning on working with the 6th grade class. But after the songs all the boys from the class saw a different group going to play soccer so they decided to join them instead. So here are my 9 boys working with 15 girls their age or a year younger. The girls had cameras and were taking pictures as they sat RIGHT next to the boys. But once we got started they worked well together.
After we were done the guys were amazed and talking about how much fun they had and wish we would have stayed a little longer. It was really neat to see them working one on one or two with the girls. A couple of the boys prayed with them, each speaking different languages but still in prayer. A local church is continuing to follow up.
