Chicken Pox

One of the girls that came to Marcela's party has the chicken pox. She was in school too during the week (she's in M's class) and the spots appeared on Wed. (her birthday too poor thing). So we've been exposed, now begins the waiting for the spots to appear. It's apparently going around the island. People have mentioned to me that lots and lots of children here have them. On one hand I'll be thankful if they get it and get it over with but on the other hand I'm not sure I can handle them home for a week driving me crazy not able to go anywhere.

We've hit a rough patch with the kids these last two weeks. Sometimes it's just hard to grow up and learn new and difficult things. We'd love it if you'd shoot up a few prayers for us as we do our level best to parent them with love and gentleness.
