Taal Day 1

DAY 1

It is broken down into a 3 day trip.  Our first day was hiking Taal volcano, it is an island in a lake, on an island on a lake, on and island in the ocean, if that makes sense to you. 

 

We started out on a boat and got to an island on the lake.  After getting there we rested for a bit and then took a 4 hour hike up to the crater where there was a lake.  We swam in the sulfur lake.  We went hiking around the lake looking at hot spots with boiling water, steam vents, and boiling mud.  It was amazing to feel the heat coming out of the ground and water.  After the hike back to the camp we eat had a bon fire and an evening message.
