the market
Reggie and the older girls took Grandma to the market while she was here. They enjoyed the sights and sounds. Here are a bunch of photos with minimal explanations. Hope you enjoy!

Bagio Beans, Okra and Ampalaya
An inner hallway, pretty dark and very stuffy and hot.
Nata de Coco. The young flesh of the coconut. It is colored for salads I think but there isn't a difference in flavor I don't think.
Hanging rows of meat, hanging in the heat.
The awesome stump where they chop at said meat. Not sure this would pass inspection.
Flowers anyone?
How about bags of cooking oil?
Marcela definitely wants some of this fruit!
And of course her dad bought her some.
Oranges and mangosteens.
The mode of transportation there and away- the trike! 7 pesos per person or about 15 cents.
